Holy Communion

Visitors who receive Communion in their own churches are welcome to receive Communion at St John's at any of our Communion services.  Others are welcome to come to the altar at the time of Communion for a blessing (please kneel or stand with your head bowed).  If you do not currently receive Holy Communion but would like to, talk to the clergy about preparation for Confirmation.
Prepared by Simon Patrick (simonATsjpa.freeserve.co.uk), 29 December 2001; last revised 4 May 2013. The pictures on this page are the processional cross and a detail from the east window of St Michael's Chapel: a picture of Jesus Christ with the cup of wine: the caption is "Do this in remembrance of me".
